The year the association was founded by ten institutions from five states.

Build a regulatory agenda of its own for transitional care.
Conducts studies and scientific papers on transitional care hospitals and clinics, and proposes the standardisation of concepts and the creation of indicators for the sector.
Builds, fosters and strengthens the regulation of transitional care in Brazil. It is made up of experienced professionals, some of whom have worked in this market since the concept first appeared in the country. It also aims to establish channels of dialogue with the competent bodies, such as ANVISA and other sector entities.
Works to make the transitional care model known to health operators, hospitals, physicians, families and society, and to position the sector in public debate.
