Sector definitions
The criteria and calculation methods the association adopts, so that figures from different institutions can be compared.
Transitional care is a young segment in Brazil, and its indicators are still calculated in different ways depending on the institution. That makes comparisons fragile and holds back the dialogue with health operators, regulators and the press.
Standardising concepts and proposing indicators for the sector is the remit of the Scientific Committee. This section gathers what has already been defined.
Contribute
A sector definition cannot be decreed: it holds when the institutions that use it agree with it. Disagreements, cases where a definition does not fit, and proposals for new indicators are welcome at abrahct@abrahct.org.br, and are taken to the Scientific Committee.
